Welcome Message
This help only applies if yours is a public list; i.e., you accept subscriptions to your list via a web form.
The welcome message is sent immediately after a confirmation message is returned. It verifies the subscriber has been added and welcomes them.
This is a good place to include list etiquette, rules for posting, etc.
